Would not charge I phone if it had a protective cover on the phone. Most phone have a protective cover.

Works well but doesn't match the picture

The product works as intended. It charges my iPhone 8 through my Otterbox Defender - but was confused by my ID card I kept in the back (RFID). My issue and the 3 stars is because of the following: - the wood grain on the product is nowhere near what is shown in the picture (its more dirty brown smears) - the charging symbol is not "hidden" like the product picture (It is a big white circle). - product is too light, it moves everytime I put my phone in it (I may solve this by hiding a weight in the bottom or gluing some rubber to the bottom) Nothing is so bad that I would return it, but the product picture and the actual product have some glaring differences.
