parallel clothes dryer 042-8845-02

this item has hard plastic pieces to hold dryer frames in place. purchased last year. thought it was good product until plastic pieces holding frame arms up at top of dryer split dumping clothes on ground. metal would be much better. not even sure if you can get replacement parts. over 32 minutes on hold to number listed on box. gave up!

Broke the first time I went to use it!

Didn't even have one load of laundry on it and the expanding arms at the top folded! VERY poor design, poor quality. Not at all happy after spending way to much getting it set up. Had my other one for 9 years. Going back to that brand!

not worth the money for sure

i purchased this product and after 15 month it is all bent. the flimsy brackets that help it go up and down are all bent. i only used this line for 7 months. and not that much. we are only 2 people in this house and i also was careful to balance the load of clothes when hanging it. this product is not worth the money. plus 1 yr warranty. Canadian tire needs to buy a better product.

Summer time ... this baby kicks it in the yard!
Just mounted the base in the backyard in a 1' deep hole with cement ... sturdy sturdy sturdy!

A: they are made of aluminum. but not strong enough. i have had products like this before with my small yard and they lasted for yrs not 7 months. junk it is

Q: How deep into the ground does the ground sleeve go, and what, if any, equipment is needed to insert the sleeve into the ground?

A: Ground sleeve will go approx. 9" into the ground. You will have to dig a hole 8” to 12” in diameter and 20” deep. Fill bottom of hole with small rocks approximately 3” deep. Pour about 6” of concrete into hole (or until it comes to the bottom of the ground sleeve). Then position the ground sleeve and pour concrete around the outside until flush with the top of the ground sleeve (or 1-1/2” below top if in a lawn. This will allow filling top layer with soil and planting). Detailed mounting instructions come with the product. A: Its flat top design, with a pivoting top, makes hanging your laundry convenient as every inch of line is evenly within reach! The no-rust galvanized two-piece steel post is sturdy and fits securely into the ground sleeve, providing excellent stability that also lets you take down your line during inclement weather (protecting your dryer from the elements and keeping your line cleaner). The high impact plastic post cap and sleeve resist wear, keeping your line nice and functioning over time. And since, unlike your shoes, it comes pre-strung, you can pop it up, set it up, load it up, and hang it out to dry.
