One big issue

I purchased this faucet a month ago and installed it this past weekend. The overall build quality is good. A bit disappointed that the hot and cold water valves are made from aluminum which has been anodized a brass colour to perhaps make it look like brass. The biggest disappointment is the drain lift rod. Did Delta forget about engineering here when you designed this feature? It is very difficult to install and have it run smoothly given the price for this faucet. This is the biggest drawback for this faucet

Bad Rod Lift

My contractor installed this faucet with the rod lift. The rod lift is almost impossible to lift and once it does, the paint is scraped off the rod. The contractor adjusted multiple time with no luck of correcting the issue. So, I have an expensive faucet with the rod lift that is not working and with paint scraped off down to the metal. The cost of this faucet one would think it would work properly. I guess I need to replace the rod lift then not use it. The faucet was purchased from a plumbing supply house.

Black gasket shows under faucet

I bought this faucet in two different finishes for four different bathrooms and I am having the same issue on all of them. There’s a black plastic piece that delta claims should fit inside the faucet but does not and can not physically fit inside . It shows on all of them when installed. It does not show this in any of the photos online and it makes the faucet looks cheap.
