Après une semaine d’utilisation, il fonctionne bien et ne fait pas trop de bruit dans les autres pièces de l’appartement. Il est relativement facile d’installation à 2 personnes. Le tuyau d’évacuation de la chaleur est difficile à étirer au maximum afin de rafraîchir le plus possible une pièce contiguë. La compagnie ne produit pas de tuyau de 5 ou 6 pieds.
La housse en mousse empêche tel qu’annoncé la part ce chaleur générée par l’appareil de rester dans la pièce. Cette housse est difficile à installer par une seule personne, mais ça fonctionne bien.

Don’t bother.

This AC SUCKS. It barely cools my bedroom even tho it’s supposed to cool a much larger sq/ft. Genuinely it barely makes things any cooler. The hose is soooo short it’s ridiculous and was a huge pain to set up. Even on the highest setting it sucks. The noise is pretty loud as well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The DeLonghi Pinguino portable air conditioner works well and cools my bedroom effectively. I found the connection hose for the window to be short, and the overall build quality is not excellent, but it’s working fine.

Q: Is there an option to have the fan continue to run once the unit reaches the desired temp? I don’t want it to disturbed us too much at night and having the fan run continuously would be nice. Also, if I use an adapter, can I install with a crank window?

Make sure you have the fan mode on and not on auto if the machine is on auto the fan mode will shut off. The window adapter can be installed on slide windows and double-hung windows. Q: Is there a compartment that stores the water that can be removed or is it simply a drain plug system that needs to be drained?

A: Hello, to completely drains the water from the internal circuit, remove the cap from the lower drainage hose, turning it counterclockwise, and pulling it to remove the internal cap. Drain the water completely into a basin. When it is totally drained, replace the caps, making sure they are closed. Clean the filter as indicated previously. The filter must be dry before reinserting it. Thank you.
