Kwik seal ultra

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Kwik Seal Ultra has some promising features and is likely decent for many lighter duty sealing tasks: where the environment is not extremely demanding, where appearance is not extremely critical, and where the product is given proper prep, application, and allowed to cure fully. As we’ve used it short term for now. I would like to not when looking at other reviews that it may fall short in the harshest, wettest, or most flexible joint scenarios. However for now, I’m pleased with the product. Little odour was noted, let it fully cure for 48 hours, and will monitor its results with the information I now know.

Thank you for posting your feedback on DAP KWIK SEAL ULTRA. Based on your commentary indicating: “IT WOULDN"T STAY IN PLACE", would appear to indicate that you may be attempting to apply the sealant to an area where silicone and/or its residue may be present. Because silicone and its residue are classified as a "bond breaker" (a surface that is too slick to permit proper adhesion/bond formation), proper adhesion/product performance would not be expected. As indicated on the product package label and supporting product literature (Technical Data Sheet): "Surface Preparation 1. Surface must be clean, dry, structurally sound and free of all old caulk, dirt and other foreign material. Because you did not provide any background/details about your project/application, it is difficult to provide a more detailed reply in this format. Should wish to provide these details, so that we can provide you with more specific product usage guidance or to recommend a more appropriate product, please feel free to contact DAP’s Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477.

Versatile and fresh looking!

Durable and easy to use

I was very happy with the application and durability of this product. It fixed the problem and has lasted extremely well considering it does get water on it. I would definitely recommend
