Q: can i use it for hide a crack tile?

A: There are many variables to consider like is the tile in a shower where it will routinely be exposed to water, how big is the crack, is it in a heavy traffic area, is there movement in the tile or is it still firmly attached to the floor, is the tile white or will the caulking need to be painted to match. Alex Plus is more used around doors and baseboards and not on floors or in areas like bathrooms or kitchens where you’d be better suited with a more waterproof product like Kwik Seal Ultra (Canadian Tire Product# 064-1695-8). This product is more like an adhesive and is made for bathrooms and kitchens. If you have a caulking gun and are able to use it instead of using a squeeze tube, then it would be recommended to use Kitchen and Bath AMP in white (Canadian Tire Product # 064-1696-6). It is the best product you can buy for this purpose and can also be painted to match the tile if it’s not a white tile.

Q: Can I fill masonry cracks with DAP Alex Plus Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone Though there are other silicone sealant products specifically for masonry, I prefer this one for its smaller size (for no dry up waste) & it's paintable.

A: You could use it on masonry, but it's not the best choice. As you stated, there are other silicones for a specific use, such as GE silicone 067-0877 which is a light grey colour meant specifically for concrete but unfortunately is not paintable.
