Try changing a cartridge!!

Had this faucet for about a year when the cold handle became very difficult to turn. Called Danze and they sent me a replacement cartridge FOC.
Handle design does not match any on the Danze website, no set screw or removable cap etc. I ended up destroying the faucet trying to get the cartridge out and even with it all mangled and taken apart..... the cartridge is still not accessed!
Looks like it is a one use - throw away type product! Would not recommend and this has put me off Danze for a LONG time.....

We installed these and have had no real problems with them. I like they are Canadian made, and the company does stand behind them. Our hard water clogs the filter quickly, so we removed it. They have held up well and look good.

Had this tap installed in our new home in March 2013, soon after it started to squeak on hot tap and 2 months later on cold. \I have to make sure tap is off as it leaks if you do not exert pressure. I would not recommend it.

I recently moved and wanted to replace the faucets throughout the house. Got this one on sale for the bathroom to replace an old faucet that used washers (the type you have to tighten hard to stop water flow). It was easy to install, typical of any other faucet. The only thing I don't like are the plastic parts for the pop-up drain; the rod connects to a plastic extension, into which the plastic lever is inserted. The clip that connects the plastic extension rod to the main rod is prone to slip and I've had to reach under the sink a few times to pop it back in. Too much trouble to uninstall and return it, so I decided to live with it. The faucet itself seems to be of excellent quality and performs very well. I bought it on clearance sale at 75% off and at that price, it's a good deal. Otherwise I would have taken it back to the store immediately upon seeing those plastic parts.
