Lifetime Warranty - No Kidding

This may be a discontinued model, but the company deserves praise. I bought this faucet for my cottage a good ten years ago. That first winter the head cracked. Even though I drained the water I guess there was still some residual water left in the head. It was certainly not their fault, but Globe Union sent me a free replacement. Now the diverter valve is not switching between stream and spray. I phoned them up to see if I could order a new part. They still had me on file and are sending me another free replacement head. I find that astounding in this day and age!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Even on sale, not worth the time

Worked well for about 2 years, then the hose to the pull out handle sprang a leak. Not sure if I can find just the hose to replace.
Just the time to clean up the mess under the sink - stay away, not worth it.

I have had this for ten years now. The braided put out hose wore out just now. I called their customer service expecting to pay for a part but NO! There as almost no wait time on the phone and the new hose came the very next day - no charge! Excellent service even when long out of warranty. Very happy.

Lasted 6 years, but rebuilt it twice

I was able to get 6 years out of this faucet, but like almost everyone else with most of the Danze pull out faucets, it seizes up after a couple years. The mineral buildup + wear on the inside of the base causes the faucet assembly to stick, causing the left-right swing action to move the entire assemble (which isn't supposed to move). This causes the mounting brackets to come loose and the faucet to fall over. The first time it happened about 3 years in, at which time I took it entirely apart to clean/lube the internals. That lasted another ~2 years until I had to do it again. It's been a year now and after my third attempt to fix it, it's simply seized. Time for another vendor.
This would have been a 5 star product if not for this issue, we really really like it (which is why I rebuilt it twice - we didn't want to get rid of it!).

If it wasn't on sale, I would not even give the one star. So cheaply made even a professional plumber had difficulties installing. Even in the first few weeks, everything became stiff and awkward to handle, and also about the time the spray option stopped working properly. The thing looked 50 years old after the first month which no amount of cleaning could change. Water pressure was poor right from the start, now approx. 1 year later, I have to put it in the garbage as there is absolutely no water pressure and no way to repair. Wish I would have read these awful reviews before purchase...

Q: What is the warranty for this faucet? I had this faucet professionally installed 3 years ago and now it's leaking down the handle onto the countertop. I really like it but my plumber told me it needs to be replaced. What is the warranty period and how do I go about getting it replaced?

A: if it is leaking under the handle, either a part needs t be tightened, or the cartridge needs to be replace, there is no need to replace the entire faucet. warranty is limited lifetime. Q: How to remove the valve from this model of faucet Our faucet jas only been installed since October 2014 and when we turn the handle to the left for hot water it cuts out. We have been told it could be the vale inside the faucet which needs replaced but not sure how to access it.

A: The Canadian tire model you are asking about should be relatively easy to remove the handle and cartridge. There is a small button that pops off the handle, inside the hole there is a set screw to loosen. The unit should have come with a small hex wrench to loosen the set screw. Then the handle lifts off, the trim ring underneath unthreads counter clockwise. There is a nut holding the cartridge, you will need a wrench to remove it, once done the cartridge just lifts out of the body. Please always make sure the water is turned off before removing the cartridge. If you require further information please don't hesitate to call the technical support line 1-800-487-8372.

Q: Est-ce possible de changer le bout s'il coule? Parce qu'il est brisé et qu'il fuit de plusieurs endroits. Je n'ai plus la facture puisque je l'ai jeté, croyant qu'un robinet était bon longtemps. Acheté en août 2011.
