This is my second pair and and the stitching seems to come apart by the big toe.

Big Let down

I was pumped to buy these boots when I saw them however, they turned out to be a huge let down. They have a lot of space in them so my foot was never secured in boot. If I was on slanted ground, my foot would slide to the side of the boot. I wore thick socks and put in soles, thinking that would help, but still had that loose fit. The lace hole ripped out, even though I anticipated that, cuz they look weak, it still popped out with my sensitive handling. And when I took them in to Marks to return, I noticed the lace hole on other boot popped out too. They are not worth the price at all. Marks great return policy let me exchange my defective boots. Thanks Marks.

Comfortable, but not built to last

I had these boots for about 6 months before I started having trouble. The inner liner is stitched into the boots, and after only a few months it began to tear. After 6 months they were so uncomfortable I had to replace them. For whatever reason the composite toe is part of the liner, and not in the leather itself. They were very comfortable while they lasted, and definitely waterproof.

Mine also came apart at the big toes

I was hoping that these would last at least a year as I only need to wear them three times a week or so. I drive a truck and was looking for something to keep my feet dry on those rainy west coast days. They started splitting at about three months....which is conveniently after the 100 day return period. The "welded" part of the inside of each boot came apart right at the big toe. These boots are not good. Other people had the same issue.
