Cyber Clean Zip Bag

This stuff is great! I purchased it to clean my 5-year old portable computer keyboard. It had crumbs and cat hair trapped under the keys, inside the unit itself. I had no idea how much debris was trapped inside there until I cleaned the keyboard with Cyberclean! (...and this was despite having tried to clean the keyboard earlier using various suction/vacuum devices). Cyberclean is a sort of sticky, silly-putty, gel-like stuff with a very fake lemony scent, odd-looking, not wonderful smelling, but effective nonetheless. I applied the ball of gel to the keyboard, and then spread it quite thinly over the keys, pressing it into the spaces in between them. It didn't grab everything in the first go, but it did quite a good job after a couple of applications. About 80% of the debris gets trapped in the gel, and it brings most of the remaining debris closer to the surface, enabling you to grab it with your fingertips or vacuum it out. I would certainly buy it again (although I intend to buy the larger cup size, as it's far more economical given the fact that you can't reuse it too much). However, even the small package provides a cost effective way to clean a keyboard, and other difficult items. Cyberclean worked better than the cans of compressed air, or even vacuum/suction devices used used in isolation. Best results can be obtained with Cyberclean followed by vacuuming (for very dirty surfaces). Note:The Cyberclean does get mucky with time and needs to be replaced, as one would expect. The debris gets trapped in the gel and it is unable to be removed (it shouldn't let go of it or it wouldn't work!). You do, therefore, have to remember to fold the gel over on itself to get a clean surface before reapplying it to the object to be cleaned - if you don't you risk dropping the debris back onto the surface/into the object. Dispose of the Cyberclean when it begins to look murky, rather than the original fluorescent yellow! Verdict: Works very well. I'd buy it again in the larger (cup) size. I've already recommended it to other people. (My cleaning lady saw me using it and was so impressed that she went out to buy some for her own keyboards!)
