It is built with a three-piece frame. The side plates are able to move side to side along the main body of the hitch, allowing it to be tweaked to the exact width needed. This particular RV hitch is able to fit frames up to 72" wide. With the side plates in the correct position, they secure bolt into place using the included mounting hardware - Having a trailer hitch on the back of your RV is one of the most useful investments you can make to improve your camping experience. This motorhome hitch comes with a standard 2" x 2" receiver tube, allowing it to accept any towing accessories with a 2" shank. A 2" ball mount can be installed to enable the RV to tow a variety of trailers such as a boat trailer, ATV hauler, utility trailer or even a popup camper.
