Q: Can I use it to bake a cooked ham slice? So I make 2 slice of toast from bread, thenI cut a slice of ham (cooked) and bake it like bread. Can I do that? I was wondering if there's any common known restrictions for toaster using. In place I came from, there's no such thing about toast.

A: I wouldn't put a slice of cooked ham into the toaster, as there is no way to clean the guides inside the toaster. Stick to bread products.

On the cheaper side

Puchased this to replace the same exact Cuisinart toaster that i had for 15 years. As with many products, the quality has gone done. It is not as sturdy, the lever has no resistance whatsoever so you wind up slamming it down to make your toast. Honestly, I'm keeping it even though it really doesnt toast evenly because everything made lately is pretty flimsy.
