love all it's functions, although it's not like the original solid European built ones.

It is quieter than previous models. It is the size we wanted.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Too cheaply made for the price

I just bought this. Quality is so cheap. I tried dry ingredients and it blew out flour all around the lid. It was sealed but this thing needs a gasket! For this amount of money I expect better quality from cuisinart. Super cheap.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Haven’t used it much yet but chopped nuts/shredded cabbage and it worked beautifully! Good size, doesn’t take up too much space in the cupboard.

Very happy with this purchase.

This 8 cup food processor is the perfect size. It is small enough for a batch of hummus and large enough to grate a mound of cheese for nachos. It is efficient and cleans up in a jiffy. I can't wait to see what else I can whip up with this little beauty!

Q: How does the lid lock? just bought one but it won't turn to lock..and fearful of breaking the plastic lid if I force it?

5 Answers
  • A: Apologies for the delay in response. You need to ensure that both the container's handle and the tall piece of the lid sit in front. Place the lid with the closing tab slightly to the left of the handle and turn lid to the left until you hear a click.

Q: Can I use this to blend spices?

2 Answers
  • A: My guess is that it is powerful and sharp enough but the size of the bowl would require larger amounts of spice..small amounts wouldn’t work so well.

Q: Is the chute big enough to fit a cucumber or potato whole or do you have to cut veggies up to get them to fit through like some processors?

  • A: Baby potatoes and baby cukes, yes. But anything larger would have to be cut.

Q: Does this unit have a small hole to dispense oil for making mayo

1 Answer
  • A: It does not have a separate hole for that purpose. I use the feed chute as shown in the photo and it hasn't been a problem for me. You may get some oil on the sides of the chute but wasn't a problem. I love this blender, it's compact and works well for me. Ken
