Il fut assez facile de déballer la cafetière mais certains articles (2) ne sont pas pratiques du tout (1. Définitions des nombreux boutons sur un carton plastifié qui devrait coller mais ne colle pas et tombe à chaque fois er 2. Un espèce de bouton qui doit aller sur le On & Off mais ne fonctionne pas)

I just wanted a simple coffee maker and this is it. It is attractive doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter and is easy to use. I like that the coffee has three different options for temperature and it keeps my coffee much hotter than other machines. I also appreciate that it stays on for 4 hours after it's brewed so I don't have to keep turning it back on if I don't drink it right away. The area to fill the water is kind of small so if you have dexterity issues is probably not the machine for you. It has a retro switch that is kind of disappointing because it doesn't make a click like an actual retro switch would but that's just Aesthetics so no points lost there. I've been using the machine for just over two weeksand itakes a perfect pot every time.It has a water filter that apparently requires changing every 2 months. I normally use filter water for my coffee. I tried making the coffee without filtered water and it was terrible so I don't think the filter actually does anything and I won't worry about wasting money on replacing the filter. It beeps when the coffee brew cycle is completed and it beeps when it turns off.

HOT COFFEE!!!

I've struggled with coffee makers for years until now. Previously owned machines maybe the first cup was hot but after that warm at best. The Brew Central has a setting which enables the coffee to remain hot up to 4 hours and it does!!!! I made a pot the other day, had a cup and then left for an appointment leaving the machine on. Came back 90 minutes later, poured another cup and it was just as hot as my first cup 2 hours earlier. Best machine I've ever owned

A: you can clean the filter. i believe the manual says to soak in cold water. impurities in the water are "attracted" to the filter media and bond. its just a matter of breaking the bonds. after soaking i usually flush with cold water under the tap. i also run the machine with vinegar and water prior to putting the filter back to ensure i have cleaned out any "scaling" etc.

A: Yes; but when compared to the two previous coffee makers we've owned from Cuisinart, this unit is a little smaller and not as high a quality. So far, it has worked well.

Q: does the dual temperature setting (regulating how hot the coffee is) work? We like our coffee "hot" and find that most coffee makers do a poor job of making/keeping it hot - willing to pay the price if this feature actually works

A: The lid has to line up just so with the handle to press and snap into place, just poor design, a hinged lid would be better especially for the price.

A: The time is there but of course you can't see it because it's not lit, backlit or lit up in any fashion. More poor design.

A: I have one I used full-time for 7 years, buttons never broke or failed, even the little toggle switch was sturdy.

Q: Why is there a card with the buttons functions on it in the instruction book? It has holes that line up with the face of the machine and the font color is far more legible than that on the machine. But it has no sticky side to fasten
