Cub Cadet 3X® 28-in IntelliPOWER® Snow Blower

Beautiful machine , Beautiful power and can throw the snow far enough , just love it when the governor kicks in after the motor bogs a bit , should of bought it a long time ago , what an amazing experience to own one.

One of the worst snowblowers I’ve ever used the three stage plugs up really bad in wet or even damp snow, do not recommend

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this thing a couple of years ago and it was a love - hate relationship from the beginning. Now it is simply a hate thing in which I will buy something different for next winter. The quality of the machine is great and I will be buying another Cub Cadet but it will be a 2 stage as the 3 stage always plugs up horribly in wet or heavy snow. In my experience the auger and front impellor thing do not get along well to work together. Also the blower is probably too small and the chute is way too small of a diameter to get that wet snow through it quickly. This causes the blockages in my opinion. Very disappointing.

I ended up returning this blower as everything was so cheaply made. I don't complain often but I didn't like anything about this thing.

I picked up a Cub Cadet 3X® 28" IntelliPOWER® Snow Blower today. The cost was $2700. I went through the company's buyers guide and selected a machine that promised to be a good fit. I have a large driveway that gets plowed. I wanted a show blower to clean up after the plowing. This included missed areas, and around the perimeter of the asphalt driveway. I was replacing an old machine that was on its last legs. I have to say that I was shocked at how poorly the Cub Cadet 3X® 28" IntelliPOWER® Snow Blower did. It has no guts. The drive system has no power to push through even 6 inches of snow on a flat surface. It was totally incapable of handling thicker drifts of snow. This snow blower is a total disappointment especially considering Cub Cadets product write up and the very significant cost. It's basically a useless $3000 piece of junk at least for my purposes which I don't think are too extreme. I would never purchase another Cub Cadet snow blower. I am hoping that I can return it tomorrow. Part 2 the next day I gave the Cub Cadet 3X® 28" IntelliPOWER® Snow Blower another chance today. I thought maybe I was just cranky yesterday. Nope, this snow blower is totally useless. It is not made for any kind of heavier snow fall. The drive system is so weak that you have to jockey around the snow blower yourself. Im drenched in sweat after using the machine. Do not buy this if you have any physical challenges or are getting older and need the machine to do the work. It's totally shocking how bad this machine is. I sure hope Canadian Tire will take it back.
