Bought through the app & picked up at store. Inside was smaller than expected. Cooler gets very narrow near the bottom & didn’t work out for us.

Adequate if you can't get a real cooler

It'd be nice if the lid held more tightly, but given that I cheaped out and got a styrofoam cooler instead of something more durable, that's to be expected. It's fine. It's perfectly adequate.

Q: I live in Toronto. I wonder if styrofoam cooler such as this can be used on the balcony over the winter to store veggies in there or would veggies freeze if temperatures get very low?

A: Thats a great idea if you don't have the space, however…I would make sure to properly insulate the interior with a layer of high density foam insulation

A: Foam coolers can be depended on for adequate insulation with product and ice for roughly 6 hours. Please note that there are “factors” that will change the duration (of ice lasting) to a great degree. 1. How much ice is being used.5 lbs/ 10 lbs /20 lbs ?? 2. Is the cooler completely full—a full cooler retains cold better than a half empty cooler 3. Is the cooler in an air conditioned hotel room, or at the beach at 95 degrees ? 4. Was the cooler rinsed out with cold water before being stocked , or was it in a hot garage before being filled ? 5. Were the contents frozen ,chilled or room temperature when placed in the foam cooler ? All these scenarios would give you differing results on duration. The manufacturer Cryopak would be happy to discuss your potential use and advise you as best they can.
