A: Thank you for your question. The pot is made from food grade high purity aluminum of a thickness of 1/8” OR 3mm. The bottom is 1/8” and then pot thins out along the sides as the pot is being formed.

Q: is this anodized aluminum and therefore good for acidic tomato sauce?

A: The pot is made for High purity food grade aluminum. It is not anodized. It is commercial quality and used by restaurants for cooking all types of soups, stews and sauces including tomato sauce. Many of the Italian restaurants and pizzeria's in Ontario use this pot to make their daily requirement tomato sauce.

A: The vendor only supplies the 64L pot. Most customers use this pot with the outdoor burner. It is best marketed with the burner to indicate pots size and proper use.
