I really like this rain barrel! It looks good and it fits nicely into the spot we had. Our old rain barrel was open at the top and always had algae growing inside. This one shouldn’t have that problem.

Collect rain in style

The rain barrel has the capacity we were looking for. We had to elevate it in order to use the lower spigot and had to buy a downspout adapter for filling. The translucent colour allows you to see the level of water inside!

One more way to recycle and use what nature provides

Nice Design will be used in visible area in front of a building, having a tap in the centre means being able to fill a watering can more easily when the barrel is full with out excessive pressure from the weight of a whole barrel of water. It has nice thick walls seems well balanced,should hold up to the pressure generated by 170 litres of water. A few flaws, the mesh piece to the prevention of leaves, bugs,and debris getting into the container isn't very well fitted, it is warped into a hump allowing gunk to get in when aligned with the pre-drilled holes.. Having brass taps makes them rust resistant and durable but connecting brass threads to the much softer material of the rain barrel is not a good fit. 2 different thread types and sizes. The brass fittings cut and chew up the softer material and may cause leakage. Once mother nature fills it we will know .
