I purchased these dishes 21 years ago before I even moved out on my own. (That set is still complete) The older sets do contain lead prior to 2005. I still have a few of the older sets currently. Thankfully I also have the more recently made ones too. The lower star is because the only way I found out about the lead in the dishes was there were several news articles and reports urging people to stop using pre 2005 corelle dishes.

A: Hello, the dinner plates have a 10.25'' diameter. The salad plates have a 8.5'' diameter. And the bowls measurements are 6.25'' diameter x 2'' high. We hope this helps!
