Conair Double Ceramic Flat Iron Hair Straightener, 1-in

I use a flat iron every time I wash and style my shoulder length hair, along with touch ups in between, so it is a necessity beauty tool. When my Conair flat iron stopped working after over a decade of regular use, I had to find something quickly. I was taken aback at some of the prices being charged for a simple appliance, and know that price is never a good indicator of quality or performance. I loved the sleek clean styling of this Conair model. While the ceramic plates are 1/2 inch less in width than what I was using previously, I had good experience with the brand's reliability, know they stood behind their warranty, and it was on sale at my favourite Canadian retailer, so that really helped with the purchasing decision. As it turns out, the 1/2 inch less width made no difference, as the floating ceramic plates are longer so I find it faster to use. Besides the attractive styling, what I love most is how amazingly fast the iron heats up. We're talking seconds not minutes! There are 5 temperatures settings to choose from and the plates glide over the hair without stress or heat damage. I appreciate the handle lock on the iron that lets you store it completely closed, along with the attached cord clip to keep storage tidy. (My previous iron didn't have either of these extras). The iron is lightweight, easy on your hands and wrists, and perfect for travel. I am so pleased with this purchase, as the iron does a beautiful job. I really hope I get the same longevity, or better than I did from my previous Conair model. According to Conair's Canadian website, they offer a 3 year limited warranty on this product. UPC Code:068459209689. I believe Canadian Tire also offers a store exchange warranty for defective product within a certain time frame, so that is helpful as well. Keep your receipt just in case.

A great product! Heats up fast and works well!

I bought this and straight out of the box it won’t turn on. Tried multiple outlets/power sources. No light , nothing just won’t turn on. Such a waste of money

i haven't even had it for a year and it broke it just stopped working in the middle of me using it. It doesn't turn on or heat up.

I got this straightener as a Christmas gift in 2023 and for the first couple of months it was absolutely terrible, I actually hated it so much, but I got around to using it more and it got a lot better, I recommend using the right heat for your hair type though because this straightener gets extremely hot and your hair will fry
