I am very dissatisfied with the tent. When I set the tent up the first time the carbon fiber pole for the door broke. Then the sleeve that the carbon fiber poles go through to hold the tent up tore when sliding the pole through it. That was repaired with duct tape. As for the carbon fiber pole I had to order a new one. But I could not just order that particular one I had to order a whole kit of poles. Thanks for the opportunity to fill out this review.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A great tent for a trip we loved it a lot and it we as very handy and a good stand very comfortable and all weather resistant and easy to assemble overall a value for the money.

Best tent I have had and I bought is used. I lived in it in the rainforest and then into the desert for 18 months straight. All day sunlight and all day rain. The hinged door is the irreplaceable if you have dogs. Saving up to buy another!

My mom and dad purchased this tent when I was younger and it was a great size for a four person family and even one dog. So much space for all our suitcases shoes and we even had an extra kid in there!

Ten years and still going

Bought this tent on sale ten years ago and it's still going strong. I've had it out in all kinds of weather except snow. It doesn't get as hot as some tents do in 90+, probably due to the large windows and the screen house. We stayed in it during a storm with winds strong enough it knocked chairs over, and the tent stayed up and dry. I applied waterproofing right after I first got it ten years ago and haven't had any leaking. It's large enough that my tall husband doesn't have to stoop, it comfortably holds us and our three dogs, even during rain where we are cooped up. Setup is possible in about 25 minutes with one person, but goes much faster and easier with 2 or more. At ten years old, I've never had to make any repairs in the material or screen. The elastic in the poles is just now starting to get loose, so we'll probably replace the elastic this year

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that waterproof materials do not 100% translate to a waterproof tent. The waterproofing of the tent is measured by our rain testing, which simulates a 6" per hour rain. To make our tents as waterproof as possible we tape all of the rainfly seams, use our WeatherTec inverted seams in other area, and use a patented welding process. We also enhance storm worthiness by our rainfly designs.
