A: I use wood chips with mine. Propane blow torch to get it going and have to keep relighting it.

It works! You can add it to any grill. I used it on my pellet grill and my gas grill.

Works well, just not as long as advertised.

I like this smoke generator to some degree. I have a large Napoleon plate smoke and charcoal device as well. The problem I have with this is that, at most on low and slow cooks, I can only get the pellets to last about 1 and 1/2 hours. Not the 4 to 8 hours indicated on the box. During the hour or so it works nicely. I have made sure that the pellets remain below the walls as indicated on the box so it is not a case of cross-over burn.

Enjoyed the smokiness this generates. Simple to use. Need a torch to light the pellets. Economical way to enjoy smoked foods.
