Heats up to 500f with no problems. Follow online instructions very carefully and you will have a wonderful barbecue. There’s no instructions for conversion from Propane to natural gas in the manual. So there is several things to do for this conversion and be careful how it’s done.

Q: I have the Coleman pro series 5 burner BBQ and been trying to find a griddle to swap with the grill, can anyone tell me if they make one. They make one for the revolution series but it’s to small for the pro series

However, your feedback regarding the need for a griddle accessory has been passed along. The grill cooking surface dimensions are as follows: Length: ≈ 88cm (34.5") Depth: ≈ 47cm (18.5”) These measurements should help you find a griddle accessory that fits. Hope this helps!

Q: Hi there… just bought the 5 burner pro series and running NG .. it will only get to about 400 degrees.. do I have flow issues? I want a hooter grill … pleaee help

A: Thank you for your inquiry. The most common causes of low temperature after converting to natural gas are: - Failure to purchase the correct conversion kit - Not following proper or all conversion instructions - Incorrect lighting sequence - Failure to remove some or all gas orifices - Failure to adjust the valve switch screw Solutions to causes listed above: - Confirm the correct conversion kit was purchased - Confirm all propane orifices were removed (including side sear burner) - Confirm all control knobs were removed and all switch screws adjusted as per instructions in the conversion kit manual. - If all steps were confirmed, the natural gas hose must be removed and reconnected, and a leak test should be performed. Q: Can you you use the "sear station" as a regular side burner for pans etc. ?

A: The sear station is a high intensity infrared burner that is best when used for searing meats. However, the temperature can be adjusted down to allow for reasonable use with a cast iron pan. Because this burner is so hot, we would not recommend use with stainless steel or non-stick cookware, as the high intensity infrared could damage your cookware.

A: Thank you for your question. Assuming you have a natural gas home connection with safety shut off valve, already outside your home, yes, the Coleman Pro Series is convertible to natural gas. You will need to purchase the conversion kit 085-2261 at Canadian Tire and complete all steps in the conversion process outlined in the manual.
