Excellent headlamp

There are so many headlamps out there to choose from, I didn't know which one to get. I got this on sale and figured I'd see if this fit my needs for camping this summer. It is an excellent headlamp, with more features than I expected. 5 modes including red LEDs for preserving night vision. The strap is nice and simple, and I love the tilting feature of the lamp. It seems nice and rugged too. Very satisfied!

Great for Jobs Around the House

I wanted a headlamp with various light levels for projects around the house, including reading in low light situations. This headlamp does the job superbly. It doesn't have fancy colored lights for exploring caves or running through the forest, but it does have nice, clean white light that is perfect for home projects. The only complaint is the screw cap for the battery compartment. It is not attached to the body and easily gets dropped when unscrewing the compartment to change batteries. The instructions say to attach it to the headband, but that doesn't work very well. However, overall, it's a typically well-made Coleman product and much better quality than the cheaper junk you can buy.

Yes, I recommend this product.
