Coast G50 LED Flashlight

This flashlight is small, yet very surprising. It is small enough to fit in your pocket, purse, backpack or in your car. It has a convenient wristband so you won’t drop it. The light shines extremely bright and goes an amazingly far distance - over 500 feet! The best and most surprising thing about this flashlight is when you turn the focus on the head of the flashlight, the light shines extremely wide. Makes it great for seeing all around. The light is wide enough if you are setting up a tent. If you are walking in a group, everyone can see in front of them since the light shines so wide. We found it very helpful when we were out fishing in our small boat at night in the middle of lake. We could alert other boats we were there and could easily find our way back to the dock. The light was bright for a very long distance to ensure our safe way back to the dock. The on/off button is on the end which makes it hard to accidentally turn on or off. I find it a little clumsy to have to spin it around to turn on and off. I would prefer a switch on the side. But that does not take away from how great this flashlight really is. I highly recommend this flashlight.

Flashlight is extremely bright, the ability to light a large area or focus in on a small spot makes it really handy. It seems to be built very rugged, lots of power and compact in size. This light will be useful for years to come.

I've taken this light on fishing trips and camping. Great light when you stay at your fishing hole until after dark it really floods the trail with light. Also works great to focus on the job at hand when you get to your campsite late and are hooking up generators and such. Small enough to carry in a jacket pocket. Great light.

This light is well manufactured and is very bright. The color is warm (yellow) compared to many LED lights, which is easier on the eyes. There are fewer sharp edges on this light when compared to many on the market, yet there are edges in the right place to keep the light from rolling away or wearing through the lanyard prematurely. The focusing method is quiet and works well. The price is about average for a light of this level. It would be nice to see additional light modes added to the control circuitry and a belt holster.
