A: I would not use metal utensils on this product. It doesn't specificly say not to, but I have never found nonstick coating to stand up to scraping with metal.

A: All of our cookware is PFOA-free. PTFE is the chemical name for Teflon (although often used as interchangeably as tissue and Kleenex), and is the main chemical in traditional non-stick coatings.
