The Chapin 24V Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer features a 24-volt Lithium Ion battery with a battery charger. Enjoy 2 hours of continuous spraying, that’s up to 58 gallons! Offers 35-40 PSI with a 20-22-foot maximum horizontal spray stream and up to 32-foot vertical spray stream, 6-inch wide mouth funnel for easy filling and cleaning with a carrying handle built right into the cap.

battery on fire

a year ago

battery toast, used it 4 times. started smoking. thought with a fire hazard like that they would immediatly replace it. nope , just out of warranty good for only 1 season.. toss it in the trash and will get a pump sprayer of a different brand. or something that has more universal batteries for other tools.

Same complaint as everyone else. The battery won't charge - can only find a replacement battery and charger which is almost the same cost of the sprayer.

I've had to replace this machine 4 times. (5 with the last one) battery does not charge. Think the problem may be with the wall changer as the green light quits turning to red when battery is placed on.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Manufacturing flaw

Disappointed - unable to use after charging battery. There is something wrong with battery track and main tank alignment. Impossible to install battery. Will be returning.
