Excellent value for the money spent.

Filled with gas a second pull away it went.
Noise level is exceptable as it is outside.
There are sufficient outlets and the unit because of the wheels and handle is easy to move around.
There is plenty of power to operate what I need and the run time lets me fill it up at night and I a good to the morning.
All in all a great buy .

This Champion was benched after just 1 year

It's leaked gasoline and oil since day 1. We bought this new in Nov. '24, and it's pretty close to dead Jan of 2026. There is oil leaking from pretty much every seam, and it runs rough and is much louder than they claim. It's not portable as there are no wheels, so if it's full of fuel, it's quite heavy. We do get the claimed 14 hours from the tank, and it's powerful enough to charge what we need, it's just unfortunate that it's poorly assembled and durable like wet paper towel.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Very solid little generator

Just got this generator and it seems very solidly made and a fair price. It’s pretty heavy (about 100 pounds). Also, it’s best to take your time reading the owner’s manual because there are important details to learn how to use it safely so that it performs and lasts.

I purchased two 3650W Champion generators back in August 2023, one for me and one for my daughter. Living here in Eastern Canada we do have power outages and with the climate change upon us I wanted to make sure we were ready for any long term outages. Believe you me I checked and checked many, many brands and specifications and spoke to a lot of friends who already had generators both Champion and other brands to see what worked well and what any problems were. Overall Champion came up on top from both my investigations and comments from friends. Easy to use right out of the box, nothing complicated to start, manual and quick start instructions are so easy to understand. I have used this a few times since getting it and it works so well. I always keep an extra supply of gas on hand just in case the power outage lasts for days and I am always amazed at how long it will run without having to refill. Just had a power outage that lasted for 12 hours, thank you Champion.

Q: Is this generator ok to sit out in the rain and I see it has 2 regular outlets for extension cords, can either of the other plugs be scaled down to accommodate a regular 120 v type plug

A: With a special cord from Champion you can convert the one twist lock 120v-30amp outlet to three 120v-20amp outlets. I'm not sure about the RV outlet.

Q: Does this generator need to be running for it to supply power to electrical systems? Does it have a battery that charges up for when it's not on?

A: Yes, it needs to be running but can run full blast for 8 hours on a tank of gas. We can run a tv, WIFI, fans, an oxygen concentrator (the reason we bought it) and plug in a toaster or kettle for a quick lunch when the power goes out. As a woman in her 60's, I can roll it out of the garage to the side of the house and start it up myself. Just use the large heavy duty extension cords to avoid power loss over a distance. I plug in two 50 foot extension cords and then power bar for the electrical appliances. There is no battery. It starts with just one easy pull of the cord.

A: This unit is already grounded the back panel of the unit, but there is no additional grounding needed to be done on this unit unless it is being used on a job site and code requires it or if it is going to be permanently attached to your home and code requires it to be grounded. Thank you.
