You should require the box stores to stock extensions both 8ft and 10ft, BELT and CHAIN for all openers you offer. 1 out of every 5 homes have 8ft or larger garage doors. Now I have a new opener that took 3 hours to get with no extension and have to wait 30 days for it? Bad deal.
