Garage door batery backup

My garage does not have a "From House" entry, so having the battery backup is very important to me in times of a power outage. I live in Arizona and the summer heat can really do a number on batteries. I find that this battery will hold up about 18 to 24 months which is adequate for my needs considering it can easily get to 100 degrees in the garage.

A: No, you cannot use the replacement battery on a 1/2HP MyQ chain operator. It is a replacement battery only for the models it was designed for and fits into. Those models are; 2995726, and 460267
