Overpowered for what i needed it for

Returned as soon as purchased. I had to get an employee get it down from a high shelf. Shelf label did not match the product. After making the transaction i realized it was not what the shelf label said it was so i simply returned it. The young lady at the courtesy desk asked if i still wanted it but it was much more than i needed so i declined. I was surprised that scanning code of practice wasnt mentioned .

J'ai acheté ce modèle avec courroie. Au début je ne pensais pas réussir à l'installer, parce que le plafond de mon garage n'était pas assez haut. Mais j'ai réussi et j'en suis fier. Fonctionnement super silencieux et se programme très facilement avec les boutons du rétroviseur ainsi qu'avec l'application MyQ. Vraiment très satisfait. Moteur très fort 1 1/4 hp.

Excellent fit and finish. No problem installing it, good instructions. I’m replacing a Genie which was giving issue after a good number of years service. So my observation is only on build and installation, and the Genie is much older. That said i like this Chamberlain and the MyQ app control. Easy to set up, so on what I’ve experienced so far I am very satisfied with my purchase, Time will tell on the durability.

Q: Do I need an extension kit for a 9 foot height and 12 wide door?

A: The Champerlain installation person brought all the things needed. Yes it had to be installed with an extension. If you move & take the garage door opener with you they won’t take it out or extend the warranty. I had to get another local company to install it at my new rental property.

A: Yes the Chamberlain Belt Drive can support a door that is properly supported by the door springs and weighs less than 650 lbs and measures nomore than 10'H x 16'W.

Q: The camera feature, are you able to use it without subscribing to the monthly fee? Can I view the camera at any time if I don’t pay every month?

A: The camera feed can be viewed via the myQ app without a subscription. It will be a Live Feed, for saved motion events you will need a subscription. Thank you!
