Accurate tester

I noticed I had tire that seemed to be deflated while running errands. Made a quick stop at Canadian Tire and picked this tester, it was the cheapest one (I have at least 3 at home so I didn't want to buy a more expensive one) It is accurate. I recommend.

Q: Does it give a digital PSI, or does the little stem pop out with a guage on the side?

A: Little stem pops out. You need to get opening squarely on valve to get a good reading.

Q: I filled my bike tires to firm and measured the pressure with this gauge and the reading was 5 PSI there is no way it was only 5 PSI ???

Q: Is this for bike tires? tire tells me 40 (in french). Where is it made likely in USA that why it broken easy?

A: This Certified 5-50psi tire pressure gauge is most suitable for automotive tire applications, as most vehicles require tire pressures below 50psi. This gauge may not be suitable for all bicycle tires, as road and hybrid style bicycles can require tire pressures that exceed the 50psi rating on this gauge. This particular gauge is made in China; we regret that some consumers may have had a poor experience with this product, however experience may vary based on storage and care. For bicycle applications, we would prefer to recommend our Certified Heavy-Duty Tire Gauge, 20-120 PSI. This item is available from your local Canadian Tire as Product #009-5506.
