Q: What is viscosity grade? It is AW 32 oil, why the product specification states as ISO 46? It seems to be a typo. Please confirm, Thanks.
10 years agoA: If the MM Hydraulic Fluid’s front label says “MM Hydraulic AW 32,” then the fluid inside the bucket should be an ISO Viscosity Grade 32. BUT you also mention seeing that the “product specifications” mention an ISO Viscosity Grade 46? Was that verbiage found on the back label of the same bucket? Without lab testing of the fluid inside the bucket, I would have no way of knowing which is the typo – the “AW 32” name, or the “product specification (ISO 46)” on the back label? Therefore, I would recommend taking the bucket back to the store and swapping out for a bucket that has a front label and back label that match (and both say “ISO 32”).
