Q: How many joules of surge protection does this power bar provide? The description says this power bar provides surge protection. How many joules of surge protection does this power bar provide?

A: I just looked at these in the local store and could find nothing about surge protection on the product or it's packaging. I suspect this is nothing more than an extention cord with an on/off switch. I bought the NOMA strip 52-7211-1 which provides 312J (330V) protection.
