Decent product

I installed this seat on an American Standard Champion. the shape is identical. No trouble with the install but as mentioned in a previous review, there is a significant gap between the rear seat pads and the bowl rim. It's a pretty sturdy seat so I'm going to leave as is and take my chances.

Poor quality, poor fit, poor finish

How hard can a toilet seat be to make, and to make fit properly? First thing, when opening up the item, one of the screw enclosure panels tore right off the mount. The little chafe pads like to fall out and misalign under the mounts. One screw head stripped when doing the final tighten to the toilet; less of an issue as I was able to tighten on the supplied wingnut. The plastic overmold is poorly trimmed , there's a sharp lip all the way around the edge of the seat. And found it doesn't even sit flat on the pads to the toilet; the entirety of your weight is spanned between the front corner pad and the screw mount, the rear pad sits about 1/8" off the toilet bowl. I'm having to make some spacers to actually support the seat fully to the bowl so it doesn't split in two first time it's sat on. Spend the extra $5 and try the other one.
