A: Unfortunately it depends on the size of their head. That said considering the age it is extremely likely they would be a youth helmet. I would recommend the CCM Multisport or the Bauer Lil Sport

This helmet and cage combo is excellent except adujstment instructions should be more clear in the manual. However, the price is good compared to other types of similar helmets.
