Buy on sale ONLY!!

I bought this bike this week for my son. However... we had to check all 4 in-stock bikes of this model the store had before we found one that was actually usable. The first 3 did not shift gears, or had a bent wheel, or was missing a part......the list goes on. All that to say check the bikes over thoroughly BEFORE you buy. The return policy can be restrictive. I went over the bike when we got home to do the fine tuning; things like straightening the steering, adjusting the brakes etc. So far the bike performs as well as can be expected for a CCM. I will update once we have done a few miles on the bike. This seems like a good bike at an ON-SALE PRICE ONLY, if you are looking for a bike for a growing child. I would definitely not buy this bike at the regular full price. I bought this bike hoping/knowing that it will only be good for a few years until he outgrows it and he is ready for a full size adult bike.

Great bike.

It's been a great bike , I greased and tightened everything when I purchased it. Really ? If you cannot install a paddle, you really have no case on calling this bike junk , it's not the bike , it's the people doing the assembly at Canadian tire stores. The skipping that has been mentioned is not the gears are weak and junk , it's because the derailleur is not adjusted properly.

worst purchase ever

the second day i had this bike the pedal came off i went back they fixed it it took 5 days i got the bike back and the pedal cam off again so i went back i exchanged it for the same bike but a new one same problem i would not recomend this bike once so ever

A few problems

I've had this bike for quite some time now. Once I had a pedal just fall off while ridding, I fixed it myself but then had problems with the seat moving, I just can't get it quite right. Other than that though it's ok, I ride it quite often, not the best bike ever but it'll do for now.

A: If you mean the 7 speed freewheel attached to the back wheel, where the chain moves up and down to shift gears, then no. The freewheel is made of hardened steel.

Q: Where can i by parts for this bicycle? In particular, I need a new rear wheel. The rim is bent beyond repair.

A: I just bought this bike yesturday. I put it on the weight scale tonight and its 40 lbs ! Would never imagine this bike weighed that much...lol...really nice bike!!

Q: How to fix the suspension if it's not working?? The front suspension is not working properly. It won't go up and down like it's supposed to. Looks like it's stuck or something. Please kindly advise.
