looked like a good bargain for my daughter but now the rear tire won't hold air no matter what I do. before that it was skipping and the pedal axel was wobbling. doesn't matter if I tighten it or not. I wouldn't recommend anyone but this bike

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great Value! Very comfortable!

I have to admit, I'd prefer it was lighter, and the shifts are not the smoothest. But this is a well balanced and enjoyable bicicle if you're not gonna use it for hard core mountain biking. At this pricepoint it offers a great value for your money.

Yes, I recommend this product.

  • A: As I dont have enough information I cannot tell you exactly what the problem is. By what you have stated it may be that the freewheel is broken. Please take your bicycle to the store for proper assessment and they can order new parts if necessary.

Q: how do i change the chain the chain kinked when my 11 year old was riding and i cannot get it out of the derailer by the pedals

Q: Shifting problems? Does your rear derailleur jump and skip?

2 Answers
  • A: When shifting gears, go easy on the pedal until the gear/chain has engaged. If it still jumps and skips then the derailleur screws may need adjusting. There are 3 screws: B-tension, H-limit and L-limit (or simply B-H-L). Normally you do not need to adjust the B screw. The H screw prevents the chain from riding off the smallest sprocket. If it wants to jump to the axle then tighten it slightly clockwise (counter clockwise if it doesnt want to sit firmly on the small sprocket.). The L screw prevents the chain from riding off the largest sprocket (if it want to fall off into the spokes or the plastic spoke guard, then tighten the L screw clockwise. When adjusting screws, do it in quarter to half turn increments only.
