Bought these last minute to go skating with my kid. They were a little pricy for recreation skates (mostly since i went for another pair that was on sale for $40 less, but was out of my size). They turned out to be very comfortable though and I lasted the full hour! Would recommend for the very ocational skater.

After renting skates for a while I bought these. They feel very good and the ankles are well supported. My regular shoe size is 8 and the skates size 7 fits perfect. They hurt a bit the first 4 uses but not anymore. They don't have a massive arch in the soul as some of the rentals did which did hurt my feet. I am a beginner skater and think these are great to get into it or to do casual skating. Even though they come sharpened from the factory it was recommended by the rink personnel that they be sharpened. Quite happy with them and reasonable price.

A: Women's 8.5 shoe size is equivalent to about a men's 7 shoe size. This would put you around a size 5.5-6 in skate size according to the chart depending on how you like your skates to fit. I would try skate size 6 and wearing thicker socks.

A: These will be too big as they are listed in men's sizing and do not come in a small enough skate to fit a women's shoe size of 7. We recommend looking at the below options. A: These are listed in men's sizing. Generally, women should go down 3-3.5 sizes. In your case, size 6 would be the closest fit, however they may be a bit big.
