    2 years & going

Got this bike about two years ago. There are things I love about it and things I hate. The thing I hate most about it is that the chain can pop off very easily, and gets stuck between the petal and the gear in the front. This regardless of the pink chain guard. So I had to buy an additional chain guard to assure this never happened again. She's a great city cruiser, but she doesn't do too well over bumps. I also switched out the seat to a better one.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    LOVE IT

Bought this bike the end of May. So far it has been great and I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. Only complaint is the seat is a little bit uncomfortable, but manageable and am over all very happy with it! Love the colours and how it rides. Would definitely recommend!!!

    Poor Quality - Cheaply Made

Let me start by saying I’ve had to return 2 of these until I finally got the perfect bike - a Raleigh. 3rd times a charm, right?! The first time I had to return this one was because it came with a popped tire. I exchanged it for the same model because I absolutely loved the aesthetic of this bike. The second one had a piece broken off due to the impact of going over a speed bump - the nut flew off of the metal piece holding the rear splash guard in place. I mean, that doesn’t assure me that this bike would last a week never mind years. Also, the handles are extremely cheaply made, stitched with thread and the handles feel like plastic (probably are). When your hands sweat, they’ll slip right off. Trust me, spend a little more and get a QUALITY bike. Pass on this one. She’s aesthetically pleasing but that’s about it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Good bike. Amazing brake

I bought this bike 2 weeks ago. I am happy with this bike. it has a great brake. however, on downhill I can say the bike is going fast and pedal does not work. toward downhill, If I do pedaling there is no effect on the speed and it goes fast. I can say, It is kind of annoying since I do not have any control on the speed. I tried my friends bike which has close feature to mine and it had the same issue from my point of view. All in all, I am happy with the appearance of the bike. Also, the brake works fantastically.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Are the handlebars adjustable and Is this bike good for someone who’s 5’9?

    1 Answer
    • A: Yes the stem is height adjustable. Keep in mind the minimum insertion line must remain inside the frame when adjusting. Standing height is only one factor when choosing the correct size bike. There are other factors to consider as well once mounted on the bike such as correct saddle height, and ensuring your upper body and arm position is comfortable and allows you to easily reach the shifters and brakes. We’d recommend you speak to a bike department associate at your local Canadian Tire store help you with this.
