    New Bike

It’s a comfortable ride. After being adjusted the gears shift smoothly. Good value for the money.

    Just okay

It is a good and comfortable bike but if you are a light and occasional rider. If you are a heavy rider and are not very good with tune-ups, I will suggest you go for a stronger bike. I got it last year but was always having issues with the front derailleur adjuster and the front derailleur Shimano Tourney. Also, the pedals do not turn well but this is more of an assembly issue than a material defect.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Comfortable ride, decent features, poor quality of assembly

The bicycle is comfortable to ride. It has a comfortable seat and has some decent features, like adjustable height and angle handlebars and rear Shimano Altus derailleur. I also like gloss gray metallic color - the dirt is less noticeable compared to darker color paints, and is more durable and practical that the now popular matte paints. However, half of the bolts had to be tightened up. The water bottle holder bolts were so loose that you would lose them in the first few trips. The front derailleur is Shimano Tourney, and it does not pair up well with the 8-speed rear Altus derailleur - the chain rubs against the derailleur cage at about 1x5 and 3x4, which does not provide with the full 24-gear range. The front derailleur tension adjustment is rubbish. Downshifting is slow at the minimum cable tension adjustment, which also suggests that the bike was not assembled correctly and needs tuning. Does it worth the price? Maybe, if it goes on sale and is assembled properly. I missed the $100 sale. Now, due to COVID, there is a shortage in bike inventory, and only a few decent bikes are available in the city. Thus, I had to pay full price to grab one of the few that were left.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
