Trailer and no tire??

I bought a boat trailer from Canadian Tire, and it came with no spare. It has a 4 1/2 inch five lug rim and they do not carry this tire anymore. They have switched to a different company so I am told by the automotive department. The Canadian Tire website says they had three in Vernon two in Merrit one in Penticton one and Oliver, none of the stores except for Merrit had the tire and the rim. I had to drive from Oliver to Merrit to get one. The tire itself is good. I gave it a star rating because of all the hassle it is to get a spare tire for a trailer they sell and don’t have any spare tires , also seems like nobody has concern about the issue.
