Capix Valencia Women's Comfort / Cruiser Bike, 26-in

This bike just arrived and I already hate it. Impossible to assemble. No instructions and missing pieces

I bought this a couple weeks ago, and the tire keeps popping. Not worth it. Poorly made

I saw this bike in my local Canadian Tire last month and was instantly drawn to it!! The colour and style are absolutely beautiful! I even bought my daughter the matching 20" Carpesa Model. Sadly, after only a few rides one of the nuts under the seat spring had come off and the seat was making a horrible rattling sound as the spring scraped against the screw. I searched at several stores for a nut to fit and found nothing! I ended up taking the seat to a bike shop, where they found a fitting nut and fixed the seat for me, however they advised me that if this continues to happen, I should look at getting a new seat. I guess I will have to periodically make sure the nuts are SUPER tight after every ride. I understand bikes do need maintenance, but I don't feel like parts should not be falling off after less rides than I have fingers. I LOVE this bike, and still don't regret purchasing it, I only wish it had been assembled a little better.

The seat is only stabilized by two screws and bolts, which literally felt apart during my first ride so I lost a nut off one of the screws. The remaining one becomes loose after every single ride, but the design makes it hard to tighten as the screw sits inside a large spring (so it is hard to get your fingers or a wrench into the tiny space to actually tighten it). Unfortunately the nut that fell off is not a standard size, so home hardware doesn't sell it off the shelf, which means I have to bring the bike into Canadian tire to be repaired under the one year limited warranty just to have one nut replaced. I just called about this and was told the repair can take up to a week and I could be charged if I bring it into a store that isn't the same location as where I bought the bike (as quoted by the Canadian Tire customer service agent), which is unfortunate as I have since moved to a different town. I really like the bike but beware of the nuts and screws falling apart. I would only recommend the bike if you are planning to use it for short rides on flat, paved roads as the hardware seems unable to withstand more than that.

I actually liked this bike dispute it not having regular breaks, however, I did get used to it. It does lose its screws quickly. I wouldn't recommend it.
