Got this at deep discount off clearance rack, and consider myself lucky because it fits tall room.

My family room has a high angled ceiling shared with a loft on the upper floor, so this lamp suits this tall space very well, especially with a floodlight type LED that lights up the high angled ceiling. That ceiling is made of cedar (or something that looks like it) so lighting up the beige wall and cedar angled ceiling with a floodlight gives a nice dramatic effect that looks like I spent $500 instead of under $100.

The tops of wooden legs are already cracked before screwing them together. I was very gentle, but they still cracked further

Looks pretty but has a couple issues

Very pretty lamp. It is turned off/on with a foot switch on the power cord, there are no switches up by the shade. 3 stars because 1) it's VERY light weight and easy to knock over 2) there were two defects, one was a spot on one of the legs were the wood was filled in with wood filler and it it's very obvious. Second with one of the leg attachment points. Not sure if the problem was with the screw or what the screw gets threaded into, but it took a LOT of force to get it in at the start. About half way in it finally let go and was easy to turn in the rest of the way. But something was not threaded properly in that first half. I got it on sale so it was still a good buy for me, but I would not pay the full asking price.

Very simple, quite beautiful. Well made. Bought 1, tried it out. Bought 4 more. Just built a house in the Nordic Scandinavian style. Lamps are a perfect fit.

Q: This image makes it seem like there is no cord. Where is it? Does it hang down from the middle of the lamp? Is it visible and therefore an eyesore?
