I have to find a cover for this - I got this as a birthday present from my dad and put it on my desk to use, however it is FAR too bright for comfort even in peripheral view! It gets pretty heated too, so it's going to require a special cover.

A: From what I have been able to figure out, the LED is built in and are not replaceable. Since they are LED lights, they should last a very long time.
