Lid fills with dish water when washed

This gravy boat seems like a good idea but the execution is poor. The quality of the materials will not stand the test of time. After cleaning for first use, the lid alllow some of the wash water to seep in. Upon first use the sauce was ruined with soapy water. Returned instantly!
