This item is beautiful when it’s all set up. It’s like everything else today, though everything comes in pieces that you have to build has very little to do with this product though it’s mostly everything we get nowadays we have to build.

Hidden damage

Generally good, but a large chip was off the laminate in the base. This was inside 3 layers of packaging, supposedly well protected. Luckily the chips were at the bottom of the box and we were able to glue them back on to look acceptable, a returning it would have been a giant pain.
I guess you get what you pay for

A: I measured mine at 44 db from a distance fo about 8-10 feet away. Louder than I expected.

A: I haven't noticed hardly any sound from the unit at all besides what you'd expect from a space heater. I just tested it with the radio at normal volume and didn't hear it blowing. I think this is not normal.

Q: firebox makes an intermittent low knocking sound when flame only on. This is annoying. Any resolution to this. It seems to be getting worse over time.

A: Depends on size of the item you want to fit. You have 17 inches width by 12 inches depth. Anything bigger is not going to fit

A: It says that it accomodates a 60 inch tv but We have a 60 inch flatscreen and it is too much for the unit. It bows in the middle and now the doors do not shut as everything is out of alignment
