Great looking

Great product once you get it together, it looks pretty with the white lights, I had to get help birthing the parts from the stomach cavity and had to be careful the lights cord didn't break. There is not a lot of cable with lights to just take the parts out of the cavity, you have to turn parts carefully. I thought I would save the box for storage but I do not thing it can be put back into the box and it will have to be stored completely set up, I was not planning on that.

The moose was a bit challenging to assemble, but I eventually got there! I am disappointed that I paid $139 for the moose at the Tillsonburg, Ontario store, then seen the same moose at the White Oaks, Ontario store a few days later, priced at $79.99?! I also don’t think it was fair for the Tillsonburg store to say no returns after Dec. 18th!! Was this a CTC decision or a Tillsonburg decision?

Q: I just bought mine this Christmas and the moose is only half lit up now. This sucks. How does the warranty work?

A: I find Canadian Tire customer service very good. I would take it back and exchange it for a new one. I had to do it with mine because after a week the 1 antler broke off. Just went through my 2nd winter with 3 and they are still going strong.

Q: Would the moose handle a snow load if installed on top of garage?

A: Yes I believe so . I will say mine died after just one season . I took 3 back and the manager was really good about it and replaced them . Hopefully it doesn’t happen again . They have a one year warranty . So plug them in like in sept next year and make sure there still working

Q: Half of my moose does not light up. Is there an easy way to find the burnt out bulb? And why would anyone think that design for lights is acceptable?

A: Thanks for reaching out! The light set was built on a series circuit. This means when one bulb goes out, the entire circuit is impacted and does not stay lit. May we suggest to check on the connection of the lights if there are any loosen bulbs; especially for the lamp holder with 3-wires connected at the bottom as these are the joints of the series circuit. Q: I just assembled my moose and the antlers and ears stand straight up and aren’t at anotomical angles like shown on the box. Are we supposed to bend the insertion rods so the antlers and ears sit correctly? This doesn’t look like a moose
