Scallop edge dinner napkins

I bought 3 sets. I followed the washing instructions to a T. One of them shredded about 3 inches from the green stitching. And the base colour is slightly different on some of them.

The cotton napkins have a nice serged scalloped edge however the threads seem loose. They may start to unravel after some uses and washes.
