Q: What are all the ingredients in the coating of the ceramic? Is there led in the coating?

A: I don't think there would be any lead in the paint. Tbh, lead is a metal and adding lead would give the final product a little metallic shine of make colors more vivid. Also, the Canadian Hazardous Product Act prohibit lead to be used in products intended for use in preparing, serving, food storage or beverages like cutlery, tableware and cooking ustensils for instance. And Canvas is a well know US Brand so i would assume the USA would have regulations somewhat alike. I think the average household plumbing lead content should be more of a concern than cookware in my humble opinion.

Q: Can these go inside a woodstove oven?

A: I would not recommend it. This is ceramic pottery, Most ceramic (pottery) will break on direct flame because the area in direct contact with the very high temperature flame will expand much faster than the other parts of the pot. The difference in expansion will shatter it. I guess it ultimately depends on the kind of woodstove oven you have.
